3 C’s of Content Crafters: Crisp, Clear and Curious

“Oh, writer when you write like that,
you make the readers go mad,
so be wise and keep on reading the signs of this blog.”

Does it sound familiar? Yes, it does remind you of the hips don’t lie by Shakira. I know, you guys love her and beat me up for copying her (Partially, I have made my additions). Well, you are quite aware of the fact, there is an abundance of bloggers these days. Establishing a followers base takes time and lot of effort but some minute mistakes and it will take no time to turn those followers into haters. So, here I am to help you craft your content in creative ways and correct you where you are doing wrong. Well, I should not say I am an expert but I am just sharing things that experience have taught me. Hope it helps you.

1) Don’t Risk It, Just Crisp It

Have you ever heard Bollywood item song? If yes, then you would know you can’t resist your feet from tapping. You will feel like dancing even if you don’t dance. Your content should just be like Bollywood items song. Even when the reader is not much interested in reading, they can’t resist. I know you would just be wondering how exactly should you make your content crisp? Here are some of the tactics to give it a try.

  • Add idioms and phrases.
  • Add statistics and numbers
  • Make it visually appealing by adding relevant images.
  • Make it more personal.
  • Give facts and examples.

2) Never Fear To Be Clear

Ambiguity in content never works. Two-sided statements are not something readers are looking for. If you have chosen a topic that portrays comparison to two things, then give a clear conclusion. Both are good, it’s totally your call, both have their pros and cons are something that readers already know. What they were searching for the entire time while reading your post is a clear answer and when they don’t get that, it will leave a negative impact on their mind. Say for example, If your topic is which is the better platform for mobile app development: Native or hybrid? You described both the platforms, their comparative study, pros and cons and they should have one precise answer native is better than the hybrid. This is what readers are looking for.

3) Kill Em With Kindness, Oops Its Curiosity

I know you might be thinking I am obsessed with celebs, sometimes hips don’t lie of Shakira and sometimes its kill em with the kindness of Selena Gomez. But don’t you think that’s the beauty of writing, you can craft it the way you want. Readers are always hungry for some spiced up gossip. Just like spicy food tangles our taste buds, spiced up content tangles our eyeballs. Give your readers just a little pinch of the news and leave them baffled. This will drive them crazy to know what happened and how. Leaving your blog midway with an invitation to reveal the suspense in the next blog is a great way to keep the readers hooked up.

Apart from these tips, there are some other tips as well which I guess you are probably in the know of but its no bad in revising them to give your writing style a reminder.

  • Reckless research
  • Eliminating editing part
  • Putting aside proofreading
